Nigerians are intelligent group of people who will never fail to leave a landmark wherever they go. It is a thing of joy to know that both the young and old people of this nation will always do their best to put the country’s name in the good light.

A set of 12-year-old twins have shocked the world with their remarkable performance in mathematics. This subject is a dreaded one among students in school as people find it hard to cope with the calculations and algebraic equations.

However, Paula and Peter Imafidon have proved to the world that it is quite possible to achieve any feat in as much as you set your heart upon it. This duo made mathematics look simple at their tender age.

Paula and Peter Imafidon were just 8-years-old when they broke the world mathematics record previously held by their old sister who was 9 at that time. Often referred to as the ‘Wonder Twins’, these children are known to be the youngest to ever pass the university of Cambridge’s advanced mathematics.

 

The duo set the world record when they passed the A/AS-level mathematics papers. The black children who originally hails from Edo state in Nigeria live in the UK and have set a record in the history of Great Britain education.

It will be justifiable for us to conclude that the Imafidons are geniuses with the trail of records they have broken.

Anne-Marie Imafidon is the elder sister of the twins; she speaks 6 languages fluently and graduated from high school at the age of 10.

At the age of 13, she was granted a British scholarship to study mathematics at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. The brilliant teenager got her masters degree from Oxford University 4 years later.

All the members of the Imafidon family are known for one broken record or the other. The parents of these brilliant children are Dr. Chris and Ann Imafidon. 

 

The father of these wonderful and brainy kids moved to London from Edo state about 30 years ago. He works as a renowned scholar and international education consultant to several governments.

He has a unique school of thought when it comes to teaching children as he believes every child has a different and unique way of assimilating.
