Cameroon has qualified for the final of this year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, after its team defeated Ghana 2-0 in their semi-final clash on Thursday night.
Ngadeu-Ngadjui saw his goalward-bound header cleared off the line by Harrison Afful during the early exchanges, in what proved to be a tight affair.
There were no goals in the first half at the Stade de Franceville.
Cameroon eventually took the lead, thanks to a defensive mix-up in the Black Stars box. John Boye found his clearance diverting to the back-post, where Ngadeu-Ngadjui slammed the ball past goalkeeper Brimah Razak.
Hugo Broos’ side held on as Ghana fought back and eventually sealed the result in stoppage time.
Christian Bassagog combined with Aboubakar on the counter, to finish calmly past Brimah.
The Indomitable Lions will now tackle Egypt for the trophy, after the Pharoahs saw off Burkina Faso via penalty kicks.
